Winter Olympics Pictograms
Pictograms transcend language barriers by using universally recognized symbols to accurately and effectively communicate information to a global multifacet audience.
Pictograms have become an iconic part of Olympic design, since their introduction for Tokyo 1964. The unveiling of pictograms for upcoming games has become a much-anticipated event.
The design concept for my Winter Olympics pictograms uses simple lines to depict each sport in a clear and easy-to-understand way. Each pictogram is designed to be recognizable quickly and reflects the signature movements of the sports it represents
The final design is a set of 15 pictograms that communicate to a global audience. They are versatile and can be used in a variety of contexts, from promotional materials to event signage.
