Overview

As part of my academic requirements, I was tasked to work on a capstone project, which aimed to showcase our skills and knowledge in our chosen field. I took on the responsibility of analyzing the creation of the project's system, which involved developing a comprehensive plan that would ensure the project's success. I also worked on designing the project's UI, which was a crucial aspect of its development. My goal was to create a user-friendly interface that would allow users to navigate the system with ease, ensuring a positive user experience. With my contribution to the project, I gained valuable insights and experiences in UI/UX design.

About

Palacio de Montalban is an event venue in the Philippines that uses an event monitoring system with RFID technology and a mobile app for authorized personnel and organizers. The system provides real-time updates on attendee movements, customizable event templates, event analytics, and insights into attendee behavior. The user-friendly interface and simplified technology have reduced confusion and frustration for users, resulting in a better experience for clients and improved efficiency for the venue.

Target Audience

  1. Event Organizers: This mobile app is designed for event organizers who manage events such as conferences, trade shows, special occasions, concerts, and exhibitions. They can utilize the app to monitor attendee movements, track session attendance, and gather valuable data for post-event analysis.

  2. Security Personnel: Security personnel at events can benefit from the app's RFID technology, which allows them to monitor access control, detect unauthorized entry, and ensure overall event safety. The app provides real-time notifications and alerts for any suspicious activities.

  3. Venue Management: Venue management teams responsible for hosting events can efficiently manage crowd flow, monitor occupancy levels, and identify areas of improvement using the app. The app's analytics help optimize space utilization and resource allocation.

Mobile App allows users to easily access the today's event, view the list of upcoming and previous events, and even create their own event schedule. Additionally, users can navigate to a specific date on the calendar at the top to view events for that day, while a bell icon provides convenient notifications for important updates.

Monitoring Page

Mobile App allows users to easily check-in guests and view the total number of attendees at an event. Additionally, users can access detailed in and out logs of guests within the event venue, and by clicking on a guest's name, they can view all the logs associated with that specific guest.
