Everything that lives must also die

From empires to fruit flies, everything that lives must also die. This is a reminder to appreciate the things in our lives that will not be around forever but to also know that the societal structures and concepts around us that we disfavor are transitory.

There is beauty in knowing that the things we love will not be around forever and power in knowing that the things we want to change, inevitably will.
