The London Souls – Poster

The London Souls are today's greatest rock n roll band — in my opinion. With this limited edition print, my goal was to capture the power of the duo and the genesis of the band's name.

The band's inspiration is routed in London and NYC. The idea begins at the bottom and works it's way to the top — a metaphor for the songwriting process. The cities (inspiration) are the base of the portrait while the butterflies (metaphor for souls) are emerging, flying out of the cities.

Painting the portraits digitally was a nice return to a medium I haven't really embraced in years.
