A Decade of FYC Footwear: An Illustrative Exploration

The original illustration of the "FYC Ramp" that circulated the internet was created in 2012. The image portrays a FYC ramp, rails, and the acronym "FYC" representing Forever Young Crew.

The FYC Ramp illustration sketches actually date back even further, to a time when I was experimenting with different variations of the FYC wordmark. I often find myself doodling and sketching in my free time, and the concept of the FYC Ramp was something that I kept coming back to.

This is an updated exploration of the FYC wording as a ramp, created in 2018. Rough sketches were mainly used for digital materials. The design is six years newer than the original illustration. A tagline has been added, along with the original xFYCx wording.

Oh boy, Gummy FYC aims to embody the spirit of "stay young, good, clean, and fun." — tagline. This spirit is also reflected in the personality of one of the founders, who is a popular rockstar known for their captivating performances.
