Anime Treehouse: The Series Character Roles!

These are the roles of the characters that YOU will decide for the plot of my Anime Treehouse Series! Enjoy!

Mary

Mary is a random and weird student in Lakeside Middle School. She likes to use her imagination and does assignments creatively weirder than the other students. And sometimes, she gets in trouble for the weird stuff she does. Mary dreams of making a lot of magic and wants to live somewhere she can embrace her inner weirdo around other weirdos.

One day, her mom is worried for her daughter, as she is clearly not ready for highschool. So her mom decides to send her to a camp that will teach her to “Think inside the box.” Mary doesn’t like the idea, because she likes herself the way she is, but her mom says it’s for her daughter’s own good.

Mary’s mom waves her goodbyes as she walks into the door, leaving Mary all alone with all her stuff, waiting for the bus. Suddenly, Mary feels two taps on her arm. She turns to see a hooded figure carrying a sack of human items running into the woods. Mary chases after it, wondering where it’s going. They stop at a strange tree, with purple wood and pink leaves. The hooded figure pulls a key with a pink heart gem on it out of its pocket, points the key to the strange tree, and turns the key. A mysterious portal opens, to Mary’s shock. The hooded figure enters the portal, as Mary follows suit.

Indigo

Mary opens her eyes the minute she steps out of the portal, and finds herself in a dark city with dark beings roaming around. Mary notices the hooded figure running towards a palace, so the human chases after it.

Once they enter the palace, they walk towards a large room with a furnace in it. The fire of that furnace is indigo for some reason. The hooded figure is seen burning human things. As it is doing so, Mary sees her favorite manga in the sack that the hooded figure was carrying, so the human yells for the hooded figure to stop, to which it does, closes the furnace door, turns around and reveals itself.

The figure had spiky black hair, with what seemed to be elf ears. She also had indigo eyes, a black choker, indigo and black gems on her chest, and an indigo dress with indigo boots to match.

The elf takes out a black spear, points it towards Mary, and replies with, “Only if you can beat me in combat.” She then realizes that Mary doesn’t have a weapon, so the elf puts her spear away and instead introduces herself as Indigo, a servant of Queen Omisha of the Shadow Realm, sent to burn human items in the shadow furnace. But sometimes, Indigo likes to burn items she’s not supposed to. Just then, two shadow guards burst into the room and take hold of the two girls, taking them to queen Omisha of the Shadow Realm.

Indigo is punished for burning things she’s not supposed to, as Mary is punished for being a magic user from Fuchsiara (Even though Mary claims she isn’t multiple times, and she doesn’t know what the evil queen is talking about, which makes her even madder), and also for wearing bright and colorful attire, because the beings of the Shadow Realm only wear black and dark colors. As punishment, they both are put in the dungeon, as Indigo has her servant permissions, and her spear, taken from her.

Amaris

In their cell, Indigo and Mary are bummed. Why? Indigo thought she could have some fun. And Mary wanted to follow a hooded figure to (Possibly) a fun and colorful new dimension. “Well look how that turned out,” as Mary and Indigo both quote at the same time. Mary then forms a plan to escape. She literally jumps into a pit of indigo quicksand (That one of the guards called their “toilet”). “That girl has literally lost her marbles,” Indigo quotes as she quickly follows suit. The two land in an open cell, with a woman inside. She had on a black ballerina top, with a see-through cyan skirt, a black choker and black fingerless gloves. She also had white skin, clear white eyes with cyan eyelashes, and bright pink hair.

The two get up and apologize for barging into her cell uninvited. The woman forgives them and introduces herself as Amaris, the being of emotion. She, too, was punished for having bright colors. Just then, a feminine-looking shadow guard showed up with Amaris’s roses that she likes to put in her hair, when the guard spots Mary and indigo in Amaris’s cell. The guard gently sets the roses on Amaris’s bed, and pulls out a very sharp sword. The sword is pointed at Amaris, which causes her hair to turn light blue, her skirt and eyelashes to turn lime green, and to scream so loud that Mary and Indigo have to hold their ears. The scream worked, as the guard was knocked out cold. As Amaris’s color turns back to normal, the three go to the guard to check if she is okay after Amaris puts on her hair roses. Amaris spots a map of the palace in the guard’s pocket, and takes it out quickly. The three decide to head to the stolen weapons room to get some weapons, “As we don’t have any on us right now, and we’ll need them if any enemies show up,” as Indigo quotes.

As the three are running to the stolen weapons room, Mary asks Amaris about the sudden powerful scream and color change from earlier. Amaris explains that each of the emotions she feels changes her into a certain color, and that she can’t control her emotions very well. Indigo points out that Amaris’s emotions might be considered her powers, when the three are stopped by two guards blocking the stolen weapons room. All of a sudden, Amaris’s skirt, hair roses and eyelashes start to turn red, and her hair starts to turn a bright aquamarine, probably because she was angry, and she causes an explosion from her anger, knocking the guards out cold. Thankfully, she doesn’t hurt herself, Mary or Indigo, and they manage to get into the stolen weapons room with ease. There they find some stolen weapons, duh. What intrigues Indigo are two things: her spear, and a sick guitar. What intrigues Mary is a pink star wand:

Amaris questions if she should get a weapon, to which Indigo responds with, “Not when those emotions of yours are literally considered a weapon, didn't ya know that before?” Amaris thinks of that for a while, before taking a cyan light sword, “Just in case my emotions don’t work,” as she quotes.

The three rush to the front door to try and escape, but are stopped by Omisha and some Shadow Guards before they can. Mary explains that they are going to stop her and escape, no matter what, to which the evil queen pulls out a scepter, and responds with, “I’d like to see you try.” Then a mixed series of magical, serious and comedic fighting occurs. During the battle, each girl gets to see what her new weapon could really do. Mary discovers the magical and unique spells her wand can cast. Indigo discovers the sick powers that her guitar has. And Amaris discovers that her new sword can connect with her magical color-changing emotions. Together, the trio beat Omisha and escape the Shadow Realm with the help of the key that Indigo used WAY earlier. As the trio enter the portal, Amaris promises the others that she’ll take them to a place far from the Shadow Realm, and, as promised to Mary, a fun and colorful new dimension.

Once the three step out of the portal, they are greeted by a colorful city bustling with all kinds of magical creatures. Amaris steps in front of the two, saying, “Welcome to Fuchsiara!” (As mentioned earlier by queen Omisha of the Shadow Realm), before taking them to a fashion shop “similar to Claires,” as Mary points out, where they get new outfits (Except for Amaris).

Mary was now wearing a pastel pink tank top, with a pink heart in the center. She also had on a dark pink belt with a pink heart on the center, over a dark pink skirt, which was over a darker pink skirt. The human also had on rainbow fingerless gloves and white boots with wings on the tops and a pink gem on the bottom of each. Her hair was also put up in ponytails, each held by a pink elastic.

For Indigo, she was now wearing an indigo dress, with a skull on the chest. She also had spiked bracelets on her wrists, neck and waist. She was also wearing a skull hair pin. And yes, Amaris let her keep the boots.

Afterwards, Amaris took them to a treehouse that she called “her home.” it may be small on the outside, but not on the inside! Inside was a large living room, a large kitchen, a room for each girl, an arcade, and a playroom, just to name a few of the MANY rooms this treehouse had. So it was decided. This treehouse, in the dimension Fuchsiara, was going to be the place where Mary, Indigo, and Amaris will stay, where the human no longer has to worry about the nightmares of camp.

Hope you enjoyed! This took me a VERY long time.
