Moodboards — #1 Retro-Punk & #2 Rounded-Fluffy

Week #3 prompt — Refine my Moodboards — of the Intro UI Design course.

The main goal was to gather inspiration and ideas that would help me in the app design process. The most important thing was to include the basics: colours, typography, composition, visual hierarchy, textures/images, patterns and design elements that I will implement in the design.

For the 3rd week, I had to present two mood boards for the different directions I wanted to explore in my design, and I chose two opposite directions:

#1 Retro & purple-green punk

Straight edges, intense and bold colours, punchy typography, and pure blacks and whites.

#2 Rounded & fluffy

Curved edges, pastel colours, and cute illustrations/icons.
