GAMEON - Rebranding
GAMEON is a game store in Piraeus, Greece. In the store, customers will find a variety of tabletop games, collectibles and game accessories. The store also organizes tournaments for card games such as such as Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game.
The client felt that the previous logotype was not able to represent well enough the updated services and the products of the store, but wanted to preserve the colours and the general aesthetic of the brand for the new logo.
The previous colours were too saturated, so for the sake of contrast, different tones of the existing colour scheme were selected. The main focus for the new brand identity was to create a logo that would serve well, both as a logo for the game store and for a gaming tournament organizer. A table with a dice and 2 pawns representing players were the perfect combination for the identity of GAMEON.
A background was added with a lot of well-known game elements, in order to create a more playful image for the sign in front of the store, the staff’s T-shirts and the bags.
