Voxel Heartbeat

A little late for Valentine's day because I was busy with some projects but this turned out very cool so I wanted to post it never the less 😄❤️

I used particle system with a fill volume settings for creating the voxel shape and applied a red glass shader with a very specific IOR for the material.

The animation is the trickiest part!

Because the material is glass, we can move a light inside it and it will react to light, I had a big area light behind the shape and animated it to go trough it and back so when it goes in, the voxels light up and create that beating effect 🤘😂
