Lockdown studies (gentrifications)

Constructions on a main boulevard in Montreal

About two and a half years ago (September 2020), I took these pandemic shots in complete lockdown. The streets of Montreal were silent, empty, and the last few remaining immigrant owned businesses in gentrified neighborhoods had to close down definitely due to exorbitant rent prices and renovictions. Most of these places are now leased to give space to overpriced local shops.
