Online drug store Ozerky. Design
When the online drug store Ozerky approached our company for redesign their web-site we conducted research to find out user's pain points and suggest the best solution. Here you can read about research and its results.
The home page has undergone numerous small changes. I added "Delivery and pickup" and "Sign Up" links to the top. Store location selection has been moved to the popup window that appears after clicking on the link "Choose a store". I reworked menu and reduced it to two levels. The cart icon has become more informative.
The entire checkout process was reworked.
In the original version, users first had to select a pick-up point (offline store), and then they only saw available items and prices for the selected store. The change of location caused errors in the shopping list.
I made it so that the choice of the store does not affect the display of the catalog. As shopping list in the cart depended on chosen pick-up location I decided to merge all steps of checkout process in one page.
The shopping cart has a set of states depending on items it contains and chosen delivery options. I designed screens for every possible state.
At the same time, I put the full list of pickup points on the product page so that users can see the best price and availability in all stores.
Products in the catalog could have different features: some products are not available for delivery, some can only be ordered by pre-order, some can only be purchased with a prescription, some products have selectable parameters. I thought of a design for every type and every state.
I also redesigned the personal account.
I combined online orders and offline purchases into one list.
According to the results of the survey, it turned out that about half of the users buy medicines with a certain frequency. Therefore, I suggested creating subscriptions that also appeared in the order list.
Prior to the redesign, pre-order items were placed on a separate page. To purchase them, users must complete and submit an order form. The user received information about the order from a staff by phone. I moved the pre-order items to the catalog, the user could add them to the cart like other items. A request was sent automatically after placing the order. Users could see all information, including status, in the order list.
I made a new separate page for membership. On this page, users could get information about the inflows and outflows of the bonus account.
All the pages were designed for web and mobile phone. Basing the wireframes that I designed Ozerky created new visual design that now is available at https://ozerki.ru/
