User Personas
I created user personas to gain insights into how different category of users will interact with the solution.
Design Strategy
The strategy was to keep it minimal so that data is presented in clean, easy-to-scan format and also provide visual clarity so that information are understandable at a glance.
Colours and typography were carefully chosen to display relevant, actionable data as well as track stats and key performance indicators. Data visualisation was applied in the presentation of data via charts to help identify patterns, trends and gain actionable insights.
Design Process
My design process began with interacting with the stakeholders to understand the project goals, the users, the pain points or challenges and design solution. Following this meeting, a design draft/wireframe document capturing the project goals was created. The wire-frame document served as a guide in creating high fidelity mockups.Then I proceeded to creating reusable components to scale the design process owing to short project timeline. The approach helped save time as bulk of the work at this time had been done, hence creating all the pages didn’t take too long. Hence, I was able to deliver within the given timeline.
