I really like how these designs turned out.

I like that the majority of colour and vibrance comes from the content itself. Something I find cool about this is that when a category or filter is applied, the entire colouration of the page will be based on that theme. Say you are looking for horror novels, the page might look dark, muted, and grunge based on the covers of the books and collections that appear in that category.

I also like the overall clean, minimal look of the interface. I think this also helps point the user's focus to the content itself.

I also wanted to mention the slight yellowing of the page. I thought that was a cool little reference to the pages of a book as it matures. Something creative I haven't ever seen before on a bookstore's website.
