Expat App

Personal project app concept. Expat connects locals and expats living abroad in any given city around the world through group outings, events, concerts and social activities. Unlike other apps that connect travelers passing through the same country, Expat seeks to join together people who are living in the same city for a longer time, allowing both the expats and locals to create life-long bonds. The app is split into two user types, each with their own color code (blue for Locals, orange for Expats) representing friendship and communication. Locals create and plan the outings either solo or in groups, and Expats can join as many as they’d like. Each outing is an opportunity for user to not only meet friends from another country, but also ones from their own.
