Daily Logo Challenge #07 - Fashion Wordmark

The suggested name for the company was OAKAO, so my first thought was to take advantage of the symmetry in the name and maybe create some sort of ambigram. Unfortunately, that didn't lead to anything satisfying, so I switched to a regular wordmark.

My most basic association with fashion branding is geometric glyphs and varied thickness, so that's what I tried emulating. The strokes are anchored to a 55° grid.
