Music album artwork for Midnight Mystery Club

Enchanted Moon: A Visual Journey through 'Telescope' by Midnight Mystery Club.

Midnight Mystery Club is the project started by songwriter David Paul Newell, who had made a name for himself writing for House music artists like The Shapeshifters and DJ Kisch. Midnight Mystery Club provided the freedom to indulge David's obsession with late 70's and early 80's songwriting. Songwriting during an era of transcending and timeless music that continues to endear itself even today. Inspired by artists like Fleetwood Mac, Earth Wind & Fire, George Benson, Bobby Caldwell, Hall & Oates, Tears for Fears, Alan Parsons, Eurythmics, The Cars, 10cc, Sade, Peter Gabriel, Phil Collins, and Michael Jackson.

In 2017 Midnight Mystery Club became David’s primary focus as he withdrew from co-writing for other artists to concentrate on Midnight Mystery Club full-time. Now flanked by his close friend, studio drummer, and touring musician Llavar Mindley. The two are looking to the horizon with eager anticipation of what mysteries are to unfold.

The album artwork for "Telescope" by Midnight Mystery Club is a captivating and evocative visual representation of the band's music. The design features a breathtaking image of the moon reflecting in a still body of water, with a small woman's silhouette swimming in its tranquil depths.

The image is suffused with a sense of mystery and wonder, capturing the essence of the music and the themes explored in the album. The serene beauty of the moon and water is offset by the small yet powerful figure of the swimmer, creating a visually striking contrast.

The use of soft, dreamy colors, such as blues and purple, creates a sense of calm and tranquility. This, combined with the gentle ripples of the water, creates a peaceful and meditative atmosphere. The design is simple yet effective, with the focus being on the stunning image of the moon and water.
