MrEspresso website concept

For quite a long time I wanted to build a website in old american style with hand drawn elements and bold typography. I was really inspired by Salt City Builds website designed by @Anthony Lagoon and just had to wait for a right client.

Few weeks ago friend of mine asked me if I want to make a website for the company he work with. MrEspresso is a coffee roastery in Oakland founded by Italian immigrant in 1978. It's one of two roasteries in the US who roast coffee on oakwood. It's very unique family business with strong traditions and ambitious goals. I was super excited to tell their story through the website.

I did not want to build just a business website, it had to reflect culture and history of MrEspresso. I reused some of the elements of existing package design and beautiful pictures from the roastery. Currently I'm waiting for feedback from MrEspresso and hopefully will show more pages soon.
