Short Film Poster - Hush

Composed solely on Adobe Photoshop. The film is a suspenseful drama that looks at vulnerable masculinity, traditional African religion and free will. The story centers around a small box that the protagonist encounters his ancestor as well as his antagonist. The concept was that the box would glow every time his ancestor would communicate with the protagonist. I wanted to highlight both that key idea as well as the concept of the evil darkness lurking behind since the protagonist sinks into a dark abyss when he gets possessed in the end. Plot: a young man faces the haunting loss of his mother in modern-day South Africa and continuously suffers from bad luck until a spirit who claims to be his ancestor starts granting all his desires.
