Splash screen for a travel app

Week #2 prompt — A mobile app Splash screen for a holiday app — of the Intro UI Design course.

The main goal was to design a Splash Screen of a mobile app frame to design a holiday app. I can choose the type of travel app — booking, flights, tours, cruises, etc.

The main requirements were to have: a header, a CTA (button or slider), a logo, textures (images), and text.

As a fatty and food lover, I always look for local restaurants whenever I travel.  So I thought that combining gastronomy and travel could be a great plan. I present to you, Gastravel. As the word ended in “avel”, I couldn't help but think of Marvel, which led me to Star Wars, so the slogan is a bit of a nerd joke.
