Unpaids : Resolution Flow 💸

💸 This project aimed to improve how our users are handling the unpaid co-owner fees of their building. This topic being a real source of conflict & anxiety, nobody wants to bare the heavy responsibility of reminding their neighbors to pay their fund calls.

🔍 The main learning of our discovery was that users don't know how to handle unpaids. What are Matera advices to keep a friendly co-living building? When is the right time to talk tough with a bad payer? What is legal or not? etc.

🧭 So we created a step-by-step flow to guide and reassure users with a recommended path to follow. Each step explaining why, how and when to do each task. Those screens zoom on the vertical stepper (or vertical wizard 🧙‍♂️) adapted for the occasion, which is only a small part of a bigger project to tackle unpaids.

✨ We also added what we call “Waiting banners”, indicating that there is nothing more to do for now and that the user will get a notification in a few days, so they don’t feel lost and know they can rest for now.
