JWS® (2023) Beta 1.0

A few days ago I launched a 'beta' version of my new site. It's still a little rough around the edges, but I opted to launch it ahead of getting everything dialed in.. because the old site was just bad.

A big effort in this re-design was to better show all my work together across different categories. The explore section of the site has a catalog that's searchable by tags and a ton of meta data.

Each of those tags are then recommended constantly as a means to continue the journey at any point. My goal is for people to get lost and keep going deeper down the rabbit hole. While there is a traditional nav, I see it only for those with a goal in mind, and to provide context to those who wandered.. and may have gotten lost.

On those tag pages, I also created a diagram to show some of the inter-connections. There's more potential to this diagram, but it's currently running up against all sorts of limitations with Webflow.

I'm currently working on 1.1 which will include lots of clean up, and proper case studies that show things like inspo, process, gives attribution, etc. while having the bulk of the case study powered by content from the catalog. Soon to follow that will be better product stories, and long-form / editorial style blog posts before I can move onto focusing on new content (blog posts, products, etc) 🎉
