Wine Poster (1) - Vinho Verde

This is one of the wine poster series based on my favorite regions, wineries, and varietals. I picked Vinho Verde (Green Wine) from Minho Province, Portugal for the first one. I like Vinho Verde because it is dry which is very important to me and it pairs well with many cuisines, and it delivers refresh feeling with slight sparkling(It puts CO2). Last but not least, it is relatively inexpensive(my favorite one is $9) and contains lower alcohol(8~9%) than any type of wine!!

At first, I imagined a man sailing the Mediterranean but I focused on the wine's taste itself - light fruity flavors such as peach, melon, green apple, and citrus. The red and pale purple flowers represent warm weather in the Mediterranean area.
