Maya Pyramid in the Yucatan
A temple structure that survived among the ruins of the ancient Mayan city of Chichen Itza on the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico. Mayan codices or manuscripts is a conventional name for four manuscripts of the Mayan people, which are kept in Western European libraries and are the progenitors of books.
