Outreach: Humans Who Help Humans

Here's an app I did for a hackathon back in my university days. My teammates and I were trying to devise a way to reduce income inequality while working within the current socioeconomic system. Our solution was a platform which would help redistribute wealth via exposing potential investors and clientele to minority owned businesses. Although I designed this app prior to taking my Google UX Design Certification, I was able to self-teach myself a few design concepts, including wireframing, mock-ups, Jakobs Law, color theory, font pairings, and I also learned Figma in the process. This app marked a checkpoint in my journey as both a designer and an egalitarian.
