Typographic Foldable Poster Design for Rochester Jazz Festival

Being a type-nerd, I created a typographical poster using Mango Grotesque typefacein combination with Montserrat.

Inspired by Emil Ruder's type-compositions exploring thickness of typeface and communicating the idea of jazz music through the rhythm. The results looked like compressional sound wave. I added micro elements of typeface to the macro bold typographical forms. Using just the type as an image you can communicate the whole idea :)
