Japanese Castle on the Dreaming Shores

The inspiration for my watercolour "Japanese Castle on the Dreaming Shores" came from my love of Japanese culture and the tranquil beauty of their landscapes. The intricate details of the castle, such as the roofs and gates, are a nod to the traditional Japanese architectural style. I wanted to capture the peaceful and dreamlike quality of the surroundings, as the castle is situated on the banks of a tranquil body of water. By using watercolour, I was able to create a soft, ethereal look that embodies the tranquil atmosphere of the scene.
