Daily Logo Challenge #04 - Letter

The idea here was to design a monogram logo based on one letter of the alphabet. That's a vague premise, so I envisioned making a logo based on the Palantir from Tolkien's Lord of the Rings.

In essence this is a monogram of the letter "P" with some negative space trickery to superimpose an evil eyeball in the middle. It's a nod the Palantir itslef, which was a spherical spying/communication device.

I actually like how menacing and evil the "P" looks. The thick serifs are doing a lot of work here.
