The Animation of the Interactive Fairy Tale Game Platform 🔊
I'm back with more content about the concept of an interactive fairy tale platform. It is a web application where children can explore a fairy tale by choosing the characters they like. The game that allows players to actively participate and make choices that affect the outcome. Based on that, my task was to immerse and engage players with animation. The stop-motion animation and the effect of some kind of pencil ripples on the illustrations together gave the animation a sense of a fairy tale cartoonish atmosphere.
I paid attention to the transitions between pages. They are made through a kind of "watercolor" effect, which is perfectly matched with the design.
The typography is animated with a combination of effects and modifiers that imitate the turning of pages. It also continues the theme of the fairy tale well. The team worked on animating all the illustrations frame by frame to "revive" the pictures.
