Poetry on city streets

Another illustraton I did for project Poetry on City Streets, that is organised annually in Maribor and its intention is to present poetry and illustration to the wider audience. 😊🙌🏘

This one is by poet Miljana Cunta titled Debris. I wanted the illustration to be bold, have high contrast and both elements (hand and face) to be as big as possible. I also wished to hand write the poem onto illustration since I believe it merges the two artistic expressions nicely. Both posters (Women and Debris) were on display in the city centre of Maribor. 🏘
