UI / UX Design to generate a new income stream for a VR Company
XR Kings wants to become the central hub for news, information and content about VR and AR for users all around the world. They started without a brand, logo, color scheme and website.
Role
Rick Bierman Designs was responsible for the brand's visual direction (Logo Design, Style Guide, Design System, UI Prototype Desktop and Mobile) and some stages of the User Experience Design (Information Architecture, Wireframing, User Flow).
The problem
How to create a completely new brand and grow an audience to increase engagement on the new platform and boost ad-revenue?
The approach
Conducting User Research to understand the users motivation, needs and behaviour was a crucial step since it completely defined the design direction. Whilst working in an Agile environment, this first consisted of wireframing and working on the Information Architecture. The prototyped UI Design itself was tested by stakeholders and (of course) the target audience multiple times before moving to development.
The solution
This newly designed platform is currently being developed in a pixel perfect one-to-one way, that is the strength of Rick Bierman Designs; perfect dev handoffs! We will monitor multiple performance indicators like website visitors, user signups and affiliate links / ad-revenue performance metrics.
