ATM, the idea conceived in a bath, inspired by chocolate vending machines and fueled by frustration. By June of 1967 the world’s first cashpoint was displayed in London and some 60 years later, in the middle of digital taking over almost every part of our life, the ATM didn’t even flinch.

Just recently we helped NLB Commercial Bank from Serbia improve and modernize their ATM user experience by providing UI design and front-end development for the new batch of state-of-the art multifunctional ATMs.

The project included reimagining their classic ATM experience with physical buttons into a modern touch-screen UI, helping their customers achieve their banking goals in an easy and intuitive way.

From the usual functions like money withdrawal, money deposit and balance check, to the advanced functionalities like bill payment or topping-up your mobile phone, the new NLB machines are a true one-stop-shop for customers who want to do their banking on the go.

Besides the usual landscape oriented screens found in a vast majority of ATMs around the world, the makeover also included the new, multifunctional banking devices with portrait screens and latest hardware, providing a better, faster banking experience.
