Calligraphy Cut Letters

For this calligraphy assignment I had to write my last name. There was a catch to this project. All letters had to be connected to each other in some way, as well the letters need to show emphasis and a nature structure.After many different calligraphy writing tools and attempts. I managed to compose this layout by using the yasutomo bamboo calligraphy brush. I then had to transfer with white transfer paper on black paper and precisely cut the outlines with an exact knife. that part was hard one mistake and you had to redo it again. I think it looks really cool.
