Product Management Process
This graphics is the first in the series of infographics about my processes for different roles. This one is explaining how I work as a Product Manager/Product Owner. (reuploaded because of typos).
You can also check out my two other infographics about the Data Visualisation Design process and UX Design process.
As a Product Manager/Product Owner, in a sprint cycle I typically start with the strategy or roadmap that contains planning of the upcoming big features or business priorities.
I split those bigger features to smaller tasks and fill in the backlog with them (do the backlog grooming). At the same time I check the tasks against resources the product team has.
Then tasks are being distributed between the crossfunctional teams according to their focus/time slots.
After tasks go to production and are being deployed (and lot's of minor decisions and adjustments are made at this step), they are going through Quality Assurance.
As a part of QA process, I evaluate the performance outcomes and make necessary adjustments to the strategy, repurpose teams or tasks or close the tasks and start with the planning for future sprints.
