UX Design Process

This is another one in the series of infographics explaining my methods of work and my pipeline, this time about UX design.

As an UX designer, I start with the requirements of multiple kinds (user requirements, personas, technical requirements, business problems), and I analyse them and balance them together to find the most efficient way to resolve those.

My design process per se includes paper prototyping, wireframing, user flow mapping, interactive prototypes and final hi-fidelity UI designs. All of this requires constant recurrent communication with all parts of the app team and beyond.

Finally, when the designs are ready and are signed off, user testing happens, and by outcome of the testing the cycle either repeats itself on a smaller scale, or the work goes into the production.

Needless to say, both UX and UI design directly influence several crucial success metrics for SaaS such as engagement, conversions rate, retention and of course revenue.
