Throwback Thursday: Sporting KC black argyle 3rd Kit

Throwback Thursday: Snapped a photo of the first mockup I did for the original black Sporting KC argyle 3rd kit. Art says 12/2/2011. We debuted the kit in 2013.

Final product differed quite a bit. Couldn't use the adidas originals mark; We lost the sporting blue in the placket and the print inside the collar; We moved the argyle pattern up to the chest and a sponsor came along to go underneath.

Biggest bummer for me was we could never get the argyle socks produced the way we wanted.

Still one of the coolest projects of my career. So proud of the final product and how we've continued to build on the argyle brand element.
