What is MEGHDOOT? (cloud messenger)

This 5th century Sanskrit poem written by the amazingly talented Indian poet KALIDASA. A story of an exiled Yaksha who is pining for his beloved on a lonely mountain. At the beginning of a monsoon, he asks a rain cloud to deliver his message to his love in the Himalayan city, Alaka.
