Trey Hendrickson

Trey has been one of my favorites on the gridiron since joining the Bengals in 2021. His balanced game on the field and commitment to the community off it makes him hard not to cheer for. That being said wanted to do an illustration/graphic like collage highlighting his play and belief in a higher purpose.

Trey embodies the spirit of the Bengal tiger: strong, relentless and majestic along with the charisma and physicality displayed by teams past. He is also a believer in a higher power other than himself and goes about his life living in faith and trust in that power. These were just some of the key traits I wanted to highlight and emphasize/

Not just Trey himself I wanted to display the richness of the Bengals as well who had great triumph and success recently and in the past. Through Big, bold and popping typography that captures that history in a diverse yet popping manner.

Trey plays a old school like game, no gloves, tapped figures and a ferocious mindset at the line of scrimmage. One of the reasons why I wanted this entire design to incorporate a vintage football design feel with various grain textures that make it seem tough and rugged like how they played back in the day.
