"The Boba Tea Shop" - Web design

Hi Dribblers!

This is my case study on

Bubble tea- was invented on Taiwan and is made by blending a tea base with milk, fruit, fruit juices along with tapioca and many other flavours. This drink can be served both hot and cold.

I have created a website which provides the best taste blends of tea with bobas and named it as "The Boba Tea Shop".

PROJECT OVERVIEW

The Boba Tea Shop - is a modern brand offering users high quality premium tea for different tastes. Our founder has travelled abroad and tried different tastes of Vietnamese, Taiwanese and Chinese and has implemented those ideas with bobas. It gave a positive result and tasted well.

Our ultimate goal - is to provide people with the aesthetic and classic tradition of different places while having our boba tea. It's more of a lifestyle and mood rather than just a drink.

I have designed this concept and designed it for web in my own style. I hope this design is very much user-friendly as the brand identity that had to stretch to the e-commerce website design is rooted in the creative spark that is sometimes hidden in the simplest things.

Research:

I conducted a casual interview with individuals to ask about their interest in bubble tea. I found that most of them like my idea of delivering bubble tea to their location with few minutes instead of reaching the place and waiting for few minutes.

Problem statement:

1. It's consuming the customers time & patience for the preparation of their order by waiting for their call.

2.There is no visual pictures of the product.

3.No offers or discounts when visiting the shop.

4.Unhealthy ingredients used.

5.Usage of plastic packaging.

6.Less payment methods.

Ideation & User Personas:

After researching user pain points and understanding the current platform, I moved towards connecting, refining, and prototyping solutions.

To make sure that this feature is user- friendly (easy to operate). Since, the functions, icons, designs are simple and elegant.

Solution:

1. To provide users with understandable and elegant features.

2. To develop information architecture and a seamless flow based on insights to help the users find info with ease.

3. Have added new features like Bestsellers, new arrivals, view all, offers, Order completed by month, pending orders, client satisfaction to highlight our daily updates and convey to our customers.

4.Save your hard-earned money and order our tea with several discounted deals.

5.Our tea is special as we have used all natural ingredients in our recipe.

6.We have used bio-degradable and 100% eco-friendly packaging.

7.Express delivery available.

8.We provide more payment methods.
