HYBRID RADIO UI

I recently studied hybrid radios and was impressed by their capabilities. The ability to access my favorite radio shows and switch to streaming platforms like Spotify and Amazon Music, even when outside of their broadcast range, is particularly appealing to me. The app-like experience of hybrid radio is similar to that of smart TVs and it is this experience that makes it so desirable. Additionally, I appreciate the user-centered approach of content-first design in hybrid radio products, like the one developed by Xperi Inc. for connected cars. Overall, I believe the challenge for traditional radio is to improve its functionality and presentation, which hybrid radio addresses without losing the essence of traditional radio.
