The Studio Pilates | Branding

The Studio Pilates is a new fitness studio opening in Emory Village in Atlanta. We were so excited to work with owner Kelly on her vision— a bold, inclusive brand that breaks the mold of a typical Pilates studio. This project was especially fun because Kelly’s interior designer was working on the studio space at the same time. We built a brand that’s cohesive with the in-studio experience and that’s flexible enough to work across not only print and digital pieces, but also branded products to be sold in The Studio’s retail space.

We started the process with a deep dive into Kelly’s audience and landscape. Once we had an understanding of who we were talking to, we moved into developing a strong brand personality and voice and clarifying. the brand’s mission, vision, and values: The Studio Pilates is a place to connect: with your body, with your self, and with friends, old and new. We bring high-quality, accessible Pilates and good vibes to the neighborhood. Here, our teachers are the best of the best, the music is funky, and the space is next-level.

The Studio is welcoming, quirky, and confident. We brought that energy into the visual branding, and into the phrases and designs of the supporting brand badges that will be used for The Studio’s retail items. We wrapped up the project with a full website design. We wrote copy in the new brand voice and injected the fun, visual branding into the layout, all while keeping in mind that the website’s primary goal is to get people to check out a class at The Studio Pilates.
