Here is part of a little illustration I did for D Magazine last year. In it the writer tells his misadventures of attempting some DIY in in new house that was a fixer-upper. Not to spoil it, but in trying to start small he accidentally flooded the whole house when trying to install a toilet-roll holder.

I’ve been tasked to do some DIY myself soon and this story made me terrified. I now know the perils of ‘starting small’.
