BaoBud Character Design - Concept Game App

I designed these characters for a concept mobile app called BaoBuds.

The app would serve as a task management game, which would allow the users to pick a BaoBud as an accountability buddy, and the bao would achieve goals within the game as the user completed their goals/checklists.

Each character would have it's own journey to go through depending on their design (i.e. the pig bao is trying to escape the farm, dracula bao is trying to get home before sunrise, etc.). The goal was to create appealing, lovable characters that the users would feel accountable for in return.
