Fear By Any Name

Fear by Any Name is a publication created in response to the 2021 ISTD brief

of Putting Things In Order.

The publication explores the intangible concept of fear on a personal and

global level through various case studies and data visualisations. Fear is one

of the few global phenomena that brings to mind instant association for all readers. However, it is not something we generally care to look further into

and see as a wholistic concept that has developed over time.

These visualisations range from conceptually driven type as a heartbeat

when experiencing fear, filled with the symptoms that grow alongside this,

to a type created world map explaining each continents greatest collective

fear, as well as the short, mid and long term biggest fears reported to the

Global Economic Forum.
