Staycation Website Design

Ahh, vacation. It’s a time to get away from everything, sleep in, eat great food, and explore a new city. But what happens when your vacation plan doesn’t quite fit into the budget? Do you skip it altogether?. I've currently vacation to Jakarta but I don't do travel a lot, that thing is called a Staycation! I sleep in a hotel and can't sleep until 3 AM, I'm thinking about to have a website about staycation, and here is the first step I do, UI design!

What did I come up with?

Color scheme: I choose a bluish color as a primary color. Blue calls to mind feelings of simplicity, calmness, and relaxation, which is great for vacation or holiday vibes!

Typography: For the text, I want something that friendly, clean, modern, and engaging one in order to demonstrate simplicity, calmness, and relaxation as well, so I choose a sans-serif font style, that is Poppins.

Shapes: Like I describe before, I want something that friendly, clean, modern, and engaging one in order to demonstrate simplicity, calmness, and relaxation, so I make all the components, will have a rounded corner.

Assets: Images will always dominating the game when we talk about a website design in a category of travel, vacation, staycation, something like that. So here I choose the best images from Unsplash.com and Pexel.com. Icon will also make the game more fun! Icon is united with its business's visual branding, so here I create a custom icons based on the visual brand of Staycation.
