Facebook posts commenting experience - Tiny enhancemt.

I was thinking about the commmenting experience on facebook, which I'm personally facing a problem with it, when it comes to put a comment on a long full-of-details post.

Then, I've figured out -based on a customized solution process I went through- the best solution is to put a standout button shows when hitting a particular breakpoint with a post holds +10 comments.

This button should spread the post from above in a collapsible behavior, so that the user can check the post, without lose the focus on the a certain comment/group of comments.

Bellow you can fine the problem criteria, please check it an leave the comments, it well be really appreciated.

Issue / Pain point:

  • Forgetting a specific point in a long post, which reflects into inability to understand some comments, or put a comment on specific points.

  • Lose interest quickly in engaging with the post.

  • Suppressing some ideas and not explaining them may reflect badly on the psychological and emotional side

  • A sense of incompetence and self-accusation of poor memory.

  • Waste of time through many steps, and the process of searching for a specific point in the post.

Persona specifications:

  • This type of persona has to be engaged enough with the post.

  • This persona needs to not just interested in the post itself, but also in the comments on it,to the extend that make the user scroll and may keep scrolling between the comments.

  • This user needs to be a bit un-focused, to fall into forgotten some areas/points within the post,or forget the area of the comment that was indented to get replayed from this user.

Post specifications:

  • This post has to be long and rich enough to make some users miss some points on it.

  • The comments on this post has to be + 10 with a length average 17 word within the comment,so that the user can face the issue with scrolling up and down between the post itself and the comments section.

  • The post view should contain the post itself with the comments below in a separate UI screen.
