Visual direction for Volatus Aerospace
The client
Volatus Aerospace is rebranding after several decades. It's a big move for the company, and the goal is to set the firm more clearly on the national and international commercial and military applications.
Our approach
Their goal was to improve and perfect their branding, content, and possibly merchandise in order to effectively spread their mission, elicit an emotional response from the public, and share their success stories.
The objective of this project was to propose an idea for the rebranding of Xplor to give it a more modern, innovative, technological look and feel.
The next stage was developing the logo. Design elements were added to make the logo visually appealing.
To create a new logo I concentrated on what the company does and what its primary focus is. I highlighted a number of the adjectives that I think make Xplor who they are:
Innovative
Developmental
Technological
Intellectual
Reliable
Human-focused
The Solution
The Thought Process: Volatus → Freedom → Birds → Wings
This was brought to life through 'birds eye' view photography of the earth, products and materials and a tone of voice that was very aware and open. With the site now live and the first cohort of the programme soon to begin, the future of this brand is very exciting and something that we have been proud to be involved in.
The Result
This logo is now consistent with the values of a new company dedicated to the development of aerospace prototypes, drones, designed to convey modernity, freedom and everything related to the aerodynamics of the business genre it represents.
