GrubHub: Food Portion Customization Feature
30–40% of all food prepared in restaurants is wasted either before or after it is delivered. When food is wasted, all the energy, resources, and money that were used to produce, process, prepare, package, and transport it is also thrown away. During a Product Design Challenge, I designed a portion customization feature for GrubHub US, which helps reduce food waste and overordering.
