Introducing the new identity for Cocoon. Cocoon is a home maintenance company whose mission is to simplify your life and make it easy for you to care for your home by offering personalized home service subscription plans that take away the stress of owning a home.
Early on, we keyed in on the emotive power of the word "cocoon", the company's namesake. Although we explored many stand alone mark options, we ultimately landed upon using a bold wordmark, tapping into the word's affecting power.
We took the iconic house shape and developed a brand system referencing the layers of a cocoon.
With the Carousel rebrand, I wanted a way to highlight people and put them at the forefront. The negative space of the logo mark provided an easy way to highlight individuals and created a sense of them radiating from the frame.
