Gypsies in Orissa Pattachitra
An intricate painting of gypsies partaking in the sale of flutes drawn in the traditional Orissa Pattachitra art style.
Pattachitra is an art form that originated from ancient India in the eastern parts such as Orissa and Bengal. It was traditionally done in cloth based scrolls and for ritualistic purposes in the temples. However, the beauty and the aura of the art form has been forever blossoming and thus has been used to create this illustration.
