Ralli | Social Event Organizing Platform

One of my fun and challenging projects at Tappollo Media as a freelancer in late 2021 is Ralli.

Ralli is a social event organizing platform that allows you to create events with your friends and family seamlessly. With Ralli, you can easily organize an experience that caters to everyone's preferences and suggestions, making sure that everyone has a great time.

Ralli's key feature is its ability to never let a reservation go to waste. If you have an open spot or a cancellation, you can easily share it with your friends on Ralli. This feature ensures that everyone gets to enjoy the event, and you never have to worry about leaving anyone out.

Basically, we build a prototype that the client can use to pitch for funding. We kept it simple and focusing on the core features that show off the concept. For the MVP, the team decided to focus first on creating an event for eating out 🍔🍟

It's been a fun challenge trying to balance the client's vision with what's realistically doable 😊

Onboarding and Sign up/Log in

List of Events

There are two types of events: Arranged Events and Collaborative Events.

1. Arranged Event

Event that has already been organized and the date, time, location, and other relevant details have been confirmed in advance.

2. Collaborative Event

Ralli allows guests to suggest and vote on restaurants in case the host is uncertain about where to eat. Once the timer expires, the app will reveal the final result.

Some screens are still in wireframes because the team decided during the design process that they would not be included in the MVP 💔

Guest List

Only the host can manage the guest list. And as long as there are available slots, the host can keep inviting friends without worrying about leaving anyone out.

Create an Event

For Arranged Event (happy path), simply fill out the Event details, Choose a restaurant, and Review it.

But, if the host is undecided where to eat, they can narrow down the options for their guests by selecting up to 10 restaurant options and specifying any dealbreakers.
